After multiple miscarriages and many different specialists our prayers were answered when we finally carried our Luca Joseph to term with the help of modern medicine. Mama has a rare blood clotting disorder that we finally discovered just 5 weeks into our pregnancy.

We created a sign for our bedroom that reads "Faith in God includes faith in his timing" after our first miscarriage. We were more than ready for our little guy when we welcomed him on March 25th at 4:50AM after three very long days of labor. (Half of which we labored completely naturally)

We love to camp. We love the outdoors. We could only think of one theme for our boy: A WI woodsman cabin feel. Our favorite place to be together.

It all started when Dad and Luca's Godfather, our very good friend Jake made a beautiful changing table out of reclaimed cedar. Next they made a bookshelf for him. We found the perfect steel grey for his wall and had a artist on etsy create his best friends and fur siblings portraits, his dogs, Buddy and Presley.

We had his bedding created out of colorful deer and moose prints, arrow prints and geometrical shapes by a lady on Etsy we designed ourselves. We topped it all off with a moose head on the wall.

We are in love with our little boy and the home we created for him. :)
