I'm Olga Thomas — a destination photographer based in Puerto Rico, with roots in Romania and a heart shaped by travel, beauty, and human connection.
My story with photography began long before it became a business. I started as a photojournalist in Romania, where I learned how to truly see people — not just how they look, but who they are. I learned that the most powerful images are rarely forced. They live in real emotion, fleeting moments, quiet glances, laughter that happens unexpectedly, and the energy between people when they feel fully themselves. That foundation still guides everything I do today.
My Philosophy
Over the last two decades, photography has taken me across countries, cultures, and thousands of stories. I've photographed elegant weddings, intimate family moments, proposals, celebrations, brands, and everything in between. Through it all, what inspires me most has never changed: people, style, emotion, movement, light, and the beauty found in the details others often miss.
I'm endlessly inspired by the world around me — the texture of an old wall in Europe, the colors of the Caribbean sea, fashion editorials, architecture, music, candlelight dinners, a beautiful hotel lobby, a spontaneous laugh, the way someone reaches for the hand they love. I collect inspiration everywhere I go, and I bring it into every session I photograph.
My style is a balance of two worlds: the instinct of a storyteller and the eye of an artist. I know when to gently guide you so you look incredible and feel confident, and I know when to step back so real moments can unfold naturally. The result is imagery that feels elevated, emotional, stylish, and timeless.
